Refund policy
At Sonnet & Vine, we value thoughtful design, quality, and customer care. If your order is not quite right, we offer returns for exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please note that we do not offer cash refunds.
How to Request a Return or Exchange
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us at support@sonnetandvine.com within 48 hours of delivery so we can review your request and guide you through the next steps.
Eligibility for Return or Exchange
Returns for exchange or store credit may be accepted where the following conditions are met:
- the item is in original, saleable condition
- all original tags and packaging remain intact
- the item has not been worn, washed, altered, or damaged
- we are contacted within 48 hours of delivery
- the item is returned within 7 days of receipt
Sale Items
Items marked as sale or purchased at a discounted price are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and product integrity reasons, we do not accept returns on:
- lingerie
- hosiery
- bodysuits
- swimwear
We are also unable to accept returns based on a change of mind regarding size, colour, or style where the item supplied matches the order placed. We encourage customers to review the size guide carefully before purchasing.
Return Process
To request a return or exchange, please email support@sonnetandvine.com with:
- your order number
- the item you wish to return or exchange
- the reason for the request
- a clear photo if there is a defect, fault, or discrepancy
Once reviewed, our team will respond with return instructions. Please do not send items back to the address shown on the parcel, as this is not our return address.
Returns sent without prior approval from our support team will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, including any associated customs duties, taxes, or handling charges. These costs are non-refundable and are not included in any store credit issued.
For returns valued over $75, we recommend using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned parcels.
Store Credit
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the outcome. If approved, your store credit will be issued accordingly.
Delayed or Missing Store Credit
If you have not received your store credit, please first check your inbox and spam or junk folder. If it is still not visible, contact us at support@sonnetandvine.com and we will assist you.
Exchanges
We replace items only where they are confirmed to be defective or damaged. If you believe your item is faulty and would like to request an exchange for the same item, please contact support@sonnetandvine.com.
Gifts
If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, any approved return will be issued as store credit to the recipient.
If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or if it was first sent to the purchaser before being gifted, any approved store credit will be issued to the original purchaser.
